Making the Most of Every Inch of a Primary Suite - Nest Interior Design

Making the Most of Every Inch of a Primary Suite

This primary suite has a beautiful view of the treetops on their historic street, but the alcove wasn't quite large enough to accept a pair of lounge chairs with a table between, so we challenged ourselves to get a bit more creative.
Lakeside Family Room Floor Plan - Nest Interior Design

Lakeside Family Room Floor Plan

This space has it all!  Amazing lake view, great natural light, and a spacious footprint make this the favorite room in the house.  However, the furniture has never felt like it really fit the space like a glove.  Our talented design team rolled up our sleeves and started working on the first step to solving a new space for a client - the PERFECT FLOOR PLAN!

Using Tile as Wallpaper for a Personality-Packed Bath Design

Bathrooms with all of that glossy white tile can often start feeling like a cold, hard-surfaced and scientific lab.  Not exactly a space that embraces you at the beginning and the end of the day.

Vacation Destination Home Living: Comfortable for the Whole Family

Many vacation homes ( in particular condos) are built to sleep a crowd, but the common, gathering spaces are often too small to comfortably seat as many people as your home can sleep.  Problem, right?  That was exactly what was going on here in this Door County vacation home.

Outdoor Entertaining with Fresh, Summer Floral Arrangements

My lovely niece's high school graduation party is today, and she asked me to help her with floral arrangements for each of the tables at her party.  Her color scheme is a blush peach and white.  We got started with six of the same size container.

When You Never Meet Your Client....and You Completely Remodel Their Kitchen

The client had been living and working overseas for years, and they were ready to come back to their home that had been rented out, in their absence.  They knew the house would need updating, and they loved the idea of having the work completed before they returned.
Fresh, Green Bedroom Design - Nest Interior Design

Fresh, Green Bedroom Design

Our clients have been living in their condo for a few years, and were ready to transform their bedroom into a colorful and soothing refuge.  They wanted an easy spot to curl up and read in the afternoon, so we got busy building the concept for their space.
Luxurious Primary Bedroom Plan - Nest Interior Design

Luxurious Primary Bedroom Plan

Our client had a generously-scaled bedroom, and was struggling with making it cozy and inviting.  The space had great natural light, tall ceilings and ample square footage.
We started by breaking the room into zones, for sleeping and lounging.  This client loves to curl up and read in her bedroom, so an incredibly comfortable loveseat and lounge chair became a priority.
Sucker for a Banquette

Sucker for a Banquette

A banquette is my favorite secret weapon for a kitchen remodel.  When we can tuck a banquette into a corner of a space, we get to utilize the space that was previously a mere walkway into useful space that can expand the foot print of our client's dining table and seating both.
